Our Air Freight module now has a direct interface to the live OAG commercial flight schedule database.
For those Sylectus users who subscribe to the "Air Freight" module and have a valid OAG subscription, you can now see all commercial airline schedules within the Sylectus screens, based on origin and destination locations (airport codes or zip codes) and required departure times.
There are two ways to access the integrated OAG commercial flight schedule interface.
- Via the "OAG Flights" menu option
- Go to main menu AIR FREIGHT and sub-menu OAG Flights
- Enter the Origin and Destination airport codes or zip codes (if you enter a zip code, the system will search the ACI database to find the closest airport code using Zone A).
- Enter the desired departure date / time and time zone code.
- Click the "search OAG flight schedules" button.
- The resulting flight schedules and flight particulars will show in a table below.
- While entering an order
- Begin entering an "air freight" order.
- Enter the origin and destination airport codes or zip codes or customer address (if you enter a zip code or customer address, the system will use the zip code to search the ACI database to find the closest airport code using Zone A).
- Enter the desired departure date / time and time zone code.
- Click the OAG icon (looks like a small plane) at the top of the order entry screen. The system will open up the "OAG Flights" screen and pre-fill all the required information based on the data in the order. It will also automatically perform the search.
- The resulting flight schedules and flight particulars will show in a table below.

- Provides you with the ability to give your customer options.
What do you need to access this module?
- Must be an AlliancePro or AllianceVF subscriber. This feature is currently not available to AllianceConnect subscribers.
- The Sylectus "air freight" module must be turned on. To subscribe to this module, please contact sales.
- You must have a valid OAG license.
- To use the ACI zip code to airport lookup feature, you must have a valid ACI license.
