Sign on to your customers' Track and Trace

If you have provided your customers with access to the “Track and Trace” sales-growth tool, you can now “sign on” to “Track and Trace” with them to provide training and support.

The web-based, online “Track and Trace” tool is a sales-growth feature built into the AlliancePro and AllianceVF levels of Sylectus. It allows your customers to:

  • Track active loads, including truck positions, street level mapping and Bill of Lading data.
  • View historical loads, including invoice review, imaged paperwork and trip information such as Bill of Lading and Proof of Delivery.
  • Create orders that go directly into your order system.
  • Get rate quote information for trips. Each time a quote is requested, your sales people will receive an email indicating all the quote particulars (even if the customer does not save the quote).
  • Perform available truck searches. Even if they search “alliance” trucks, all trucks will indicate your name as the controlling party. Other trucking company names will be hidden.

With this new tool, you can easily sign on to the “track and trace” tool as your customer would “sign on” without having to know their password. This preserves their secure password.

There are two ways to access “Track and Trace” as if you were signed on as one of your customers.

From the Customer Profile:
  1. Go to Customers and then Customer Profiles
  2. Find the customer record you need and drill into the customer profile
  3. Click on the CONTACTS button in the customer profile to view all the contacts associated with the customer.
  4. Find the contact record of the person you wish to sign in as. In that contact record, you will find a link that says “Login to Track and Trace.” Click on that link to access “Track and Trace” as that customer contact.

From the Contact Information Screen:
  1. Go to Customers and then Contact Information
  2. Using the filter criteria, find the customer contact record
  3. In that record, you will find a link that says “T&T Login.” Click on that link to access “Track and Trace” as that customer contact.

Thanks to Terri Pett from Load One for this suggestion.
